Hands down best Chinese food around Newton. I eat here 1 time a week atleast. Always fresh but can take a little to cook but I always call it in. I wish they still let you eat inside.
Overall the wait time was pretty good. ordered chicken and beef lo mein and sesame chicken with fried rice. lo mein was kind of hard, but not horrible. sesame chicken sauce was lumpy and didn't have a nice texture. didn't think much of it since i was hungry, but it literally gave me food poisoning. the taste of it was good at the moment, but as of right now thinking of it makes me wanna throw up. seemed as if the sauce or chicken was overdue. customer service was okay but the food could be better.
I'm new to Newton and went by the reviews. Not great but not horrible reviews and this place was close by. Unfortunately, my experience was definitely not on par to a 4 start review. I don't think I've ever had such bland Chinese food, the wonton soup tasted like canned broth, no flavor, the egg rolls were definitely frozen and horrible. Pot stickers were so bland, like cardboard. Tried the cashew shrimp and broccoli beef. Dry, no sauce and three bites into it, we threw it all away. For the $34.00 it definitely would have been much wiser to drive further to one of the three or four other chinese restaurants in the nearby area. How can Chinese food taste so bland, don't even think they used salt or used oil that has flavor. No sauce, really? No smile or thank you from the help when order was picked up. That's secondary to bad food, but the whole package is something to skip and keep on looking for better Chinese food. ?
I dont know what happened they served now dry food I never comeback so dry chicken lo Mei no flavor no
