The centre was also busy and the café had a fair rate of customer turnover which indicated good service.Looking at the menu board, it was a big decision as to what to have. I settled for Java omelette – with ham, tomato, baby spinach and feta with continental toast and a flat white coffee. Being an artisan coffee house, I was hoping the coffee wold be great! While waiting for my coffee and meal, I walked and viewed some of their displays of vintage coffee grinders, tea pots, coffee grinders and other associated equipment. If you do go to the café, do take the time to look at the display. It is well worth it and may bring back memories.Meal and coffee served in what now was not a long time. Coffee was good, pleasant flavour and texture. Although for me a tad mild. The omelette was light and well filled with hunks of ham, tomato section, baby spinach and feta which all made for a delightfully filling and tasting dish.Service was pleasant and non-intrusive, staff well trained to clear tables quickly to enable the next wave of customers to enjoy the treats. The display cabinets next to the ordering point, were laden with delights and it was battle not to partake. Maybe next time.Return? A definite if in the area again.
I go to Java Lifestyle at Arndale Kilkenny and love all the staff and they make my Dirty Chai just the way I like it
Love the coffee here, roasted fresh on site, I always get the Supa Crema for my Stovetop percolator. Awesome taste no bitterness at all, people that come over always comment on how good the coffee tastes Numero Uno.
The coffee is great, never bitter and always hot! They roast their own coffee beans on site and if you go early enough, then you may well see this process - which also smells lovely! The 10 dollar brekkie deal is great value, great tasting and is available every day. Free range eggs, bacon and continental toast including a coffee - all for 10 dollars - just brilliant! They also have lots of yummy snacks, treats and other things to tempt you if you're just after a quick snack. You can also buy coffee to take home to make your own. You can buy both beans and ground coffee - which they will grind for you when you buy it, so you know it is always really fresh.Staff are friendly, attentive and treat you like a real person.Give it a go, you will not be disappointed.
A great place to have a coffee, always busy however. Best to book or not be in a hurry. The coffee is always very good, if you like it hot ask for it to be so.
