My partner and I opted for the banquet for two, but unfortunately the restaurant was eager to close early, even on a Friday night! This left us with no time for our tea or coffee. The staff was efficient in cleaning up, so we were out by 9:00. This was our second visit to this restaurant and we were not overly impressed. Next time, we will give the other Turkish restaurant in the city a try.
We had a pleasant evening with the family and I must say that the lamb cut main course was delicious. However, both myself and another member of our party were disappointed with the marinated squid we ordered. To our surprise, the Crumbed Calamari was clearly frozen and came from a bag! It felt like something you would get at a pub. I can't believe they thought they could pass it off as fresh. When I mentioned this to our waitress, she explained that the decision came from the main office and that this dish was the only one on the menu that wasn't authentic. I truly hope that is the case. It must have been an interesting discussion in the office to decide to proceed with this plan.
It's not very common to visit a restaurant in the Wilsonton Shopping Centre, but this one is definitely worth making the trip for! The food is great and delicious.

Had a lovely evening here with family and would first like to say that my main course of lamb cutlets was lovely. BUT... Myself and another member of our party ordered the marinated squid. Can you imagine our surprise when crumbed calamari obviously frozen and out of a bag was delivered!!! Yes.. Just like you would get at a pub. Amazes me that they think they would get away with this. Hilarious really. When I spoke to our waitress about it she said the decision came from head office and that this dish was the only one on the menu that wasn't true. Phew.. I sure hope so. What an interesting meeting that must have been at head office. To discuss this and decide to go ahead with the plan.
