We made a reservation for a Friday night at 21:30 - make sure you do the same (reserve a table). Excellent and friendly service - great food. And the wine :-) We asked for the owner's (Sebastien) suggestion on both white and red whereafter he brought three bottles of each to our table and gave a thorough and colourful explanation of each. All the wines were bio-wines - what a treat - difficult to chose. We will come back soon.
Visited with friends on the recommendation of my son.The food was excellent - fresh tasty and a good selection. However the service was super slow.Drinks did not flow and I guess if service was quicker or they had another waiter we probably would have spent an additional 50 euros. We had one glass of wine each on a 2 hour sitting which never happens. The waiter who I guess is an owner was really nice but it was all too slow.We would probably return & I must say we did feel great in the morning.
This was our second recommendation from a lady we chatted to in a local specialist wine shop and, wow, did she get it right! Every course was delicious - as was the local rose suggested by the waiter, but, equally, the service was so friendly and relaxed, it almost felt like dining at home! Super starters of gambas with gazpacho and local fish on a green bean purée were followed by fish on red rice and local pork on courgettes. Deserts of peaches and a divine chocolate fondant rounded it off. Superb waiter and a fabulous evening. Highly recommended but you have to book: well worth it!
