I visited the Grindstone for the first time on my birthday. The staff was extremely friendly and the food was outstanding! We had brunch and I highly recommend the hot honey chicken sandwich. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Grindstone was fine. We had wings for an appetizer, which were great. I had the wagyu cheeseburger. I order it medium and there was not even any pink, it was easily well done. I showed our waiter and he agreed, I didn't want a new one, just told him him I wanted to let them know so that they could tell their cooks. It happens. I had the brussel sprouts as a side, and they were OK. Lacking in flavor. I also had a side salad, which was a good size and very good. My wife had the nachos and they also were lacking in flavor. I had a Public house old fashioned and it was very good. Was a little disappointed they didn't have more local craft brews on tap. It was noisy, but not terrible. Our server was absolutely fantastic. Just the right amount of attention, friendly, great attitude and was also the bartender that made my old fashioned. He told the manager about my burger and they comped 20%, which was a nice touch. Overall, the food was just ok, but the service was spectacular And the atmosphere very good. I wouldn't go out of my way to come back with all the options in this area, but it's definitely worth a visit at least once.
