Dp Jackson Steakhouse - North Canton

I made reservations to celebrate myself and my husband? On the day of our reservation I read Google reviews. We almost cancelled our reservation. However, our experience was so great that I wanted to share with others that they would check SHOULD this place and not go from the negative reviews. The Risotto was great. The food was not too salty, in fact it was perfectly seasoned. The place is small, but it's intimate and we're all right. Our server was as nice as the hostess who sat. Our food was hot and waiting was not increased. The popcorn place that connects is really cool. We have a popcorn movie bucket to go! We'd go back 100%! Thanks DP for the great experience! Our food was phenomenal!

A friend called me here, so I took my mother for my birthday. We were both blown away, how good the steak was. I was in Hell's Kitchen in Vegas and the steak was better here. Everything came out quickly and was so good. Our waitress tonight (which I remembered her name) was absolutely wonderful. Super friendly, fast and attentive. I will definitely be back!

Not sure what to expect when we got there. Has about 10 tables or so and it?s kinda narrow. Got there around 6pm on a Wednesday night and they were full. Only one server, and she was super busy. Having a tough time getting to everyone. But she was so sweet and did a great job considering the circumstances, we kinda felt bad for her. The host who seated us actually stepped in to help her out. He was very professional and courteous as well. We were in no hurry but I could see another table of 2 getting a little impatient?as they were waiting awhile to get their order in. He got a little snarky with her. But whatever?. give the girl a break!!! She was doing the best she could. Anyways, the food was just phenomenal. We brought in a bottle of wine, so again was in no hurry. Ordered the crab stuffed shrooms as a starter. EXCELLENT! Then the smoked gouda and lobster risotto and two filet medium?cooked to perfection!! Sear marks from the grill that had a nice little bit of charred flavor added to each bite. Yum!!! The molten lava cake was for dessert that was just ok. Probably would not order it again. If you?re in a hurry, might not be your place. But definitely worth the wait for the food. Maybe a little too pricey. You would think since they?re affiliated with the meat market next door, they would have reasonable prices on the menu?but I will still visit this place again. 4 stars!!

Overall the experience was good. The service was good and the place was clean. My husband and I found the crab cakes to be salty, and I'm a person who loves salt. I had pasta with lobster tail, again a bit salty. I added a side of asparagus which was delicious. They were cooked great. The portion of the asparagus could have been a bit more for the price. 4-5 pieces for $7. My husband had the regular menu pork chop. It had a tasty BBQ sauce, but might have liked the pork chop to be seasoned more on its own. Fingerling potatoes were delicious.

Exceeded our expectations! The hostess was very nice, the service was exceptional, and I can't say enough about the food. We had the pork belly and brussel sprouts as an appetizer. Hands down, best brussel sprouts I've ever had. My filet was cooked perfectly, the carrots were delicious, as was the fingerling potatoes, and whipped potatoes.
