The Woodman Inn Quality Carvery

Really nice place took my grandmother to the 90th birthday. she has been out of woodman for more than a decade and when we mentioned this and her birthday, the employees were so sweet and attentive, greeted her back and came out to check her and us. the chef even jumped out to welcome her back. Eating was solid pub food a fairly wide menu that can be hit a little and sometimes miss, but we ordered about it and everything seemed good. we were there very early and so I can not really comment on how they have to do with a busy day or how the noise level is normally, but I would really strongly recommend this to you.

We found this very expensive for a pub. we were asked if we had a small or large part of my mother and I said small, so that we only do not mix a disc meat. the rest of our party was not asked and a piece of meat was given. I think that needed more, and a vegetarian was offered only nicely. if we wanted an additional piece of meat, we found that it would have been an additional 3.95 dessert at 7.99. we still had to ask for menus and search for personal. the restaurant looked out and felt like a school dining room no atmosphere. was very disappointed again visited

Was advised, before we ate, that the price of the carvery had increased. This did not deter us and we, once again, had a lovely meal. Look forward to the Woodman Mess next time!

Beautiful carvery, everything hot and well presented. Service was prompt and very friendly. Would definitely go again as it was overall a very nice dining experience.
