Our tacos were a little bland in my opinion but the steak in the tacos was moist. I also got the trio combo with a tamale, enchilada and burrito. I loved the flavor of the tamale, it was my favorite part of the meal. Fantastic food, service and atmosphere! Beware, the margaritas are huge! Never a bad experience here. El Charro is a charming spot on Mineral Spring Avenue in North Providence. Stopped here for RI Food Fights Taco Mania. The tacos were standard Street Tacos (meat, cilantro, onions, lime). They were pretty good. Pretty small portions though. The chips and salsa and the cheese and bean dip we got were delicious. Service was reasonable. Food was good. Will definitely return.
Stopped in as part of the RI Food Fights Taco month. I don't remember eating these tacos. There have been so many this month... Basic street tacos with a friendly staff. I would eat here again.
A hidden gem if you're a Tex-Mex fan. Great bar setup and unique southwest decor including a huge horse that can be used for picture taking. Large menu of various Mexican dishes including huge margaritas! Their service has been excellent each visit with friendly waitstaff and everything is reasonably priced'
