During my family's visit to celebrate my 5th birthday at this restaurant, I discovered a hair in my curry. It was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. The table service was lacking, as we had to try multiple times to get the attention of the waiters. I would not recommend this place, as it is also quite expensive for the quality of food you receive.
I lived in Ryde for most of my life, and only discovered this gem after I moved away. On a return visit, some friends recommended this restaurant, so we decided to give it a try. It was a quiet weeknight with few people around, but the staff was attentive and welcoming. The food was fantastic, and the manager even brought out some complimentary dishes for us to try new flavors. It was an amazing and delicious experience. I can't wait to visit my friends again and return to Blu.
We dined on a Saturday evening without booking. Therefore we arrived early to find that several large groups were already fed. an early mother's day group and a first birthday party were among them. this included many Indian Australians. a good sign, we thought. we were shown to a table under a light below, which soon after sitting annoyingly flickered. when our waitress arrived to take our order, we asked them to repair the light or move us. she moved us friendly and the light flickered as soon as another couple arrived to take this table. what? it took a while to arrive between the order and our order. we weren't too worried and chased on the papadam. we were asked if we wanted more..yes please! our naanbrot came and we were asked if we wanted more. in everything, we got five free extras, including samosas and wein. was that all about the flickering light? who knows? very attentive service...every waiting staff visited us several times. the food was delicious and we took half our head home. we are coming back! the friendly and cozy atmosphere that is loved by the local Indian community. very much. we loved ours out at night.
North Ryde, Coxs rd, Wonderful atmosphere, very clean, beautiful service and absolutely scrumptious food. I would highly recommend it was a delightful experience .And reasonably priced.
