Well, that was the first place where I got a beer after the lock, and we were not let down. the staff was nice, they organized a table, even if we had not booked and they held us with beer up. I had the gammon, eggs and chips, proper pub-grub and it was also half decent. thanks for a good day. enjoy the beer and eat!

Meals always piping hot and love the gammon and the apple cake is enormous personal very friendly we will be back

Really can’t thank the management and all of the staff enough for all of the care they give to my elderly mum. Week after week they make sure she is looked after, make sure she gets home safe and they check up on her when she doesn’t turn up for her weekly lunch. They go above and beyond and my family and I are so thankful. These are old fashioned values that are rare in this era and really demonstrates how much this pub and staff are valued across the local community. Food is always tasty and good servings. A gem of a local pub.
