Contribuer aux commentairesRestaurant/dining room for the hotel rydges. we were here for a work function, it included a buffet lunch. first view the menu didn't seem very appealing. however, the quality of the food was surprisingly good, in particular the chicken barramundi network. few desserts were in order, the chocolate was the best.
First I want to correct the title: not latin grill. second, this is an in-house restaurant where I will not eat again. this is sad, because other experiences in other Rydges facilities were great! why the bad review? the pizza base was like a cookie that was left in the sun all day. “Hand-cut chips” were okay, but seem to be bought. bao bun was not fresh and chewing with bland filling. all up, $40 wasted by strange dollars! besides the question of food quality, the bar/waiting staff had no interest in being here, and it was shown by lack of basic customer service. try a smile! even a talk about the weather would have made the experience better. I found here at my first night in the north sydneys and at the rydges the menu to be completely without lust and something overpriced for what it is. tried the fried chicken and kimchi, which was actually quite beautiful, served with lemon and some Japanese mayo. then the cheeseburger, who was very average, could not taste the cheese, nor the pickel was mainly tomato and salat. can assure them that eating does not look like the photos on the rydges website!
I was here for work in rydges. 1. At night I had the wagyu burger and it tasted funny. then I spent the next 5 hours in the bathroom and questioned my decisions. next night I was for a couple beer and against my sober judgment went again to drink a few beer before the bed. I was then treated with a steak that was so overpriced that it was restaurants in perth, wa, um scham. $40 for a sirloin on fried beans and nothing else, it was gristlich and cut to the impression of a bigger steak, but no other side. shocking!
Despite The Rydges looking decrepit, the restaurant was actually a shinin star in a rough surround. Great, friendly staff. Excellent Argentinan Spanish style meat and sides. Lovely.
