It was my first visit here tonight, brought here by my friend, who had been 2 or 3 times before with his wife. All I can say is that it was the best indian meal I've had in a long time. The restaurant itself was lovely and clean, the staff were very friendly and the food was definitely a cut above the average indian restaurant and at very reasonable prices. We had poppadoms and the usual accompaniments and I then had a starter of King Prawn Bel Puree, which was king prawns cooked in Bhuna sauce, served on a puree. This was delicious and very well presented. My friend ordered a starter which had spiced mussels and was apparently just as tasty. For my main, I ordered Kashia Lamb, similar to Lamb Methi, which is a dish I have had elsewhere on several occasions. This consisted of tenderised pieces of lamb, cooked with a combination of minced meat, spinach and fenugreek leaves (methi), ordered madras strength as it was listed as an option, not something which is normally offered for Lamb Methi. To accompany this, I ordered an onion kulcha nan. The curry was to die for and the nan must rank with the best Nan breads I have ever eaten. Soft, light, melt in the mouth, drizzled with butter and hot, served fresh, straight from the oven. (When I later complimented the manager on the quality of the nan bread, he explained that they always make them last thing so that they are served immediately. He said restaurants very often make the nans then put them back in the oven to keep them warm while they cook the other food). I was so impressed with the meal that I intend to drive the 40 minutes or so from my home to bring my wife here. I will definitely be back to try something else off the menu. Very highly recommended!
Great food lovely and friendly staff look forward to going every week never disappointed very clean what more can I say about it
I have been here twice now and have found the service slightly lacking and waiting was a slight problem for me however when the food arrived it was hot and delicious and well worth the wait The pub fro me was a little out of the way buit if you are nearby i iwould give it a try, i would recomend booking as it does get busy even midweek The first time i went there was a party of 6 and the second 4 we all tried different meals and all came away extremely happy stating we woiuld like to return for oub dining i will give Tiffins Eatery 4.5 stars would be a 5 if the service was better Highly reccomend the food and it has a very good menu
Went here friends on first impression very nice. Ordered starters delicious and then main course. My friends had jhinga prawns which were smothered in a salad cream sauce absolutely disgusting they couldn't eat the food. I had tatul mix which was inedible because of the amount of sugar in it (thought it was a curry not a sweet). We called the manager and explained he went to the kitchen and agreed both dishes were not to standard, he said he would discount the food. So all we eaten was the starters a few drinks and the bill was still £50.00. I asked to speak to the manager again and I was told he had gone out!!!! Never again we will step in this place bad management and not good food. What a disappointment.
