All my friends raved about the Marmite chickenIt was so worth it! So yummy.
Having heard so much about this place from.a sydney colleague, I couldn't wait to try this place for its Malaysian cuisine. A group of five of us went here
I have been a regular since my uni days at the old hawkers behind the old shanghai. The food can be described as "refined malaysian fare" that is decently priced too. Definitely recommend the marmite pork ribs, malaysian grilled chicken, hot and spicy squid (not really that spicy), and kerabu chicken. The only criticism I have is that some of the dishes do miss the mark, and the pricey drinks (avg $5.50). Aside from that, if you want affordable, tasty malaysian food that will leave you feeling satisfied, look no further!!
This place is consistently good. Huge menu and they're now licensed with a cheap spirits, wine list (incl $70 Moët) and $20 jugs of beer. We ordered my favourites as it was my birthday: chilli pepper squid, satay chicken sticks, combination egg sauce ho fun noodles, crispy pork belly and roti canai with curry chicken. Couldn't fault anything. Service was good. The crispy pork belly was the stand out dish... crispy lardons served with a herb salad with a spicy/sweet/sour dressing and pineapple - yum! The noodles were also delish. I also really like their homemade tofu but couldn't fit it in our bellies on this occasion. Highly recommend.
