Kfc Newbury Wharf Road

8pm Thursday evening and popped in for a quick meal on the way home. Half the self order machines weren’t working so ordered at the counter. There was a big queue for orders and it took a while despite a massive pile of chicken just metres away and frankly they were struggling and under staffed. The chicken was great. Eating in however wasn’t as the bins were overflowing and there were trays stacked up and all over the place with food remains on them. I’m no food hygiene expert but chicken remains laying about all over the place probably isn’t going to end well!!!

Place was full of uber/ just eat, etc. awaiting orders, leaving little space for customers. What tables that were free were dirty. Went to use the toilets, but they were disgusting. Looked like they had not been cleaned in some time. No soap in the dispenser, and trust me, after being in that toilet you want to give your hands a scrub. Told the staff, but think I was just paid lip service. I sincerely hope the other side of the counter was cleaner.

Well normally I don’t have any issues with kfc. But today I ordered a box meal through deliveroo. Food arrived cold and also had about 4 black hairs in it. I’m disgusted n you guys should be wearing hairnets if working around food

Was probably the worst KFC I have ever had. Tasted like it was cooked in very very old oil. Would have taken it back but had already driven off before I started eating.

Kfc Newbury, with changes to road layout, can be tricky to locate. No external seating. Inside was clean and tidy, and staff were polite. No drive through at this location. Overall standard KFC food, good staff location could be better for access.
