Upper Crust Bagel Co. - Northbrook

A first-time visitor came in from out of town. They ordered a dozen bagels to take home, and when asked about the taste of the 13th, they opted for a double. The vibe here is old-school cool and totally legit. The bagels are crispy and addictive on the outside! The friendly staff behind the counter really know their stuff.

This place is the go-to spot for the freshest bagels. The selection of Bialys is outstanding. The deli counter is stocked with all the classic items that would make any Jewish mother proud (I'm part of the tribe myself). They offer smoked fish, various spreads, and my personal favorite is the chive cream cheese. As for drinks, they serve tea, coffee, and more. It's great to see a local business putting out such quality food. The staff is fantastic! Everyone, stay safe and take care of yourselves. Peace!

As a New York City transplant, I've visited nearly every bagel shop in the Chicago area in search of bagels that capture the essence of New York-style bagels. I'm happy to say that I've finally found them! These bagels truly help me fight off my homesickness.

Great restaurant with great food and service. I really like the bagel’s sandwiches as well as the smocked salmon. They always cook fresh and had made in front of you. One of the best places around for sure.

This is the best place to get your bagels. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They have a wide variety of bagels to choose from, as well as fish, and delicious bagel chips (chips made from yesterday's bagels, dried, and seasoned) YUMM!!! The prices are cut in half after 5pm. So you can get a dozen bagels for under $5! Great place overall!
