We had a warm welcome at The Wheatsheaf, as first-time visitors. We were seated at a beautiful round table in a separate room, which made our evening feel special while still connected to the main restaurant. The Australian waitress was delightful and took good care of us. We wished there were more vegetarian options on the menu, but they were accommodating in mixing and matching appetizers and sides. We all had different dishes (vegetarian, fish, and meat) that we enjoyed. The pub was dog-friendly, which we loved, and the doggy guests were well looked after. This may not be for everyone, but overall a fantastic, traditional Cotswold inn in a charming village that is worth a visit. They also offer rooms, so we may choose to stay next time!
We had a great Saturday afternoon meal with good service and excellent food. It's hard to beat this spot.
Always a great meal. can be expensive with supplements. friendly service. kyle and team well considered Saturday afternoon manik you could say it was the right deal
I do like this pub, but you can never park and it is eye wateringly expensive for what I think is quite average food. However, it is always busy so clearly most people don't agree with me!
