China Garden - Norwich

This restaurant was absolutely terrible. The staff were rude and refused to accommodate my egg intolerance. They claimed that even simple dishes like boiled rice and curry sauce contained egg, which was not true. It seemed like they just couldn't be bothered to assist me.

The food at this restaurant is decent, but I was surprised to find out they only accept cash. I had to make a trip back home to get money to pay because the nearby takeaway was closed. It was inconvenient and disappointing.

... for my very high standards. Food was a bit greasy and not at all authentic tasting like somebody had sprinkled five spice on everything!

Absolutely the worst food we've ever had and we've been getting food from here for years......we will never order from china garden again....which is good news for East chinese takeaway who are 5mins further up colman road....When we first started coming they had homemade thick chips and the food was made in house....now its bagged and fried to save time and effort....i doubt anything is prepared on site.....It's a shame that they have forgotten that quality means a lot for long term customers like us...!

Have bought from this takeaway for years and nowhere else can make szechaun ribs like them. They are spicy, cooked to perfection and the rest of the dishes are just as good
