Staff were nice, room was spacious and clean a couple of items need to be fixed in our room, which was disappointing, towel holder in bathroom falling off the wall as was the toilet paper holder. Looks like the wall around the toilet paper holder is gone, so it's going to be a bigger job, but things like this need to be taken care of. I really like hot hot water when I shower and the water temperature was a little disappointing. Shower head had adjustable sprays but I am short and unfortunately could not reach it. Sofa bed in our room was comfortable and the breakfast items we had were tasty, the bacon was. Ice and crisp. Our room had a mini fridge which I appreciated to keep drinks cold. Coffee available in the lobby all day was a nice touch
As a Hilton Diamond member, my two choices in the area are this Hampton Inn and the Hilton in Dedham. Choose this property: cleaner, modern and up-to-date rooms, heating and A/C work quietly, and staff with a positive attitude. Now I understand why this property is higher priced than the full-service Hilton down the road that is in a state of constant disrepair. This Hampton Inn looks better on the inside than from the outside. Complimentary breakfast with fresh fruit on one occasion. Mick Morgan's Pub Next door but separate from the hotel. Few small gripes: Coffee is always warm...not hot Popular FOX Business channel is missing Limited sports channels Only 2 luggage carts for this large property No water bottle filling station Overall, I will return.
Earlier this evening while I was watching the Eagles and Saints game, Room #420 attempted to break into my room between 5-7 minutes continuously. Rooms 418 420 share connecting rooms unfortunately. I called downstairs to the front desk as I FEARED for my life. I abruptly ran out of my room calling one of my friends, went downstairs and the two attendants were still standing there at the Front Desk. No one came to my rescue. I guess they thought it was ABOVE their pay grade to be rescuing guests nonetheless. They had mentioned when I rang up the Front Desk and they would have someone per my request. They must've thought this was some sort of joke. Had I known they weren't going to do anything, I wouldn't have even considered this place for Imminent Safety Issues. My Safety is Paramount with every guests staying in a hotel room alone.
I gotta say this we got in and the room was horrible smelled like cigarettes and the shower didn 't work at at all. I went downstairs and let the guy know he said there is no more room come in the morning and talk to a person. I went in the morning and told the lady there and she said ok I 'll change u room. I told her I will do it later I had to leave and wasn 't able to do it right that moment.I went back later and sheila said there is no more rooms and she will note it ughhhh... the next day in the morning I went to the front again and TANIA help me out and changed me room and said ther was no notes. Thank you tania this was gonna be a bad review but she made the stay a lot a lot better.
Checked in. Got to room and fridge did not work. They sent a young man to check it out. He did not speak and wore sunglasses. He pulled it out and pushed it back and said ok . I said it is still not working. He left without saying a word. Came back 5 minutes later. Again opened it and looked at it. Then left again. I am not sure if I should unpack or not.
