Ordered 6 wings and they were about the size of my pinky. Had little to no meat on them however I did receive 2 extra. The masala was bang on perfect as I requested. Now we get to the worst part of the order. Ordered a Lamb tawa… opened the box to be greeted with a swamp of the masala and 3 measly pieces of lamb. As someone from the south Asian community I’m dissapointed in how our food is being represented as this is ridiculous!! I can get 1.2kg worth of lamb from my local butchers for £10 and this lamb tawa was a tenner for 3 tiny pieces of lamb drowned in onions and tomatoes!? Step up your game honestly it’s a shame as I enjoyed the rest so much and this had to let me down in the end. Hopefully the next time I order in a few months the effort will be picked up. Or will it?
I had my identity stolen when I ordered over the telephone. I used a card I rarely use and hadn't used in a while. When I asked to pay on collection I was told I had to give my card details over the phone, and like a wally I obliged. An hour after they shut, my account was emptied by someone buying PlayStation games and iTunes vouchers. The police and bank are investigating but, don't be like me.
I ordered chicken tikka masala, sauce a bit runny and unnaturally red, rogan josh was tasty, bombay potatoes were whole not allowing the flavour to penetrate the potatoes, sag bajhi, was bit like an oily slop,,,I asked how it was cooked prior to ordering and they assured me it was fresh and not oily... samosas far too spicy and inedible.
I ordered a curry from here. The driver said he was round the corner and I directed him to my flat. He never showed up and I waited outside for him. I called the restaurant and they said he had returned. They wont issue me a refund either. Absolutely appalling.
We’ve been using this takeaway for years and the food is generally excellent. However, more recently, dishes which have always been served mild/medium (e.g saag dishes) get spicier each time, up to reaching the mouth burning stage (which we don’t all want). The wait time has always been an hour but that has also been increasing recently up to 30 mins over the predicted time given on the website. When you phone, they always say it’s 5 mins away but it’s more like 15. I’d therefore suggest customers order 90 mins in advance and start to request mild/medium, even for dishes which wouldn’t usually be hot.
