Dog Haus - Oakland

You place your order through an app and then head over to pick it up. Instead of a traditional restaurant, it’s more like a dispensary with multiple vendors all under one roof in Oakland. When I arrived, my food was ready and waiting for me. I drove home to enjoy it, and the hot dog was fantastic! I will definitely be back.

My husband and I decided to explore a new restaurant for dinner tonight. He ordered The Hot Chick, while I stepped out of my comfort zone and tried the impossible nuggets. Wow! They were bursting with flavor and perfectly crispy. I enjoyed ten of them but easily could have eaten ten more! My husband liked his sandwich but was a bit let down that it fell apart; he ended up finishing it with a fork and was surprisingly full very quickly since there was so much food. We also shared a side of tots and fries, which were just as crispy as the chicken in his sandwich and my nuggets. We’re looking forward to trying more items from the menu next time!

I blindly told my coworker to order me what they're getting and I was not disappointed. The chili idol is the only thing I've tried from here so far but it's soooooo good!!! Hella mustard to the point you can barely tell there's a hot dog underneath. At least it's not the regular kind. They could've went lighter on it but it wasn't too bad. I'm a fan. Lots of different options to choose from dogs to sausages to burgers. I'm looking forward to trying more.

Food is really good. Area around the building looks a bit sketchy. The pickup process is easy and they usually do a good job through food ordering platforms (Door Dash/GrubHub) as well.
