First of all, they have fresh squeezed lemonade (although they can run out. Second of all they give large portions of delicious food. The hummus tastes noticeably fresh, not out of a plastic tub, the octopus was cooked perfectly and not little rubber bands, and former times I 've been there they 've been equally pleasing. I 'm sad that they took the two pitas full of tadziki and meat for $16 option off the menu because it was a really good deal and very filling, but maybe they 'll still make it if you ask! My mom was really impressed with the size of the chicken salad.
Tonight I took my mom and dad out to celebrate my mom's birthday. Our server Victor did a wonderful job of taking care of us without hovering. My mom ordered the vodka penne, dad ordered the shrimp risotto and I ordered the osso buco with mushrooms and risotto. All of our dishes were beautifully presented and delicious. This restaurant uses locally sourced products which makes me smile. Give this place a try. I felt the prices were very responsible. Oh!! Victor put a piece of baklava in a to go container for my mom's birthday. That's going beyond
Opa! This was such a pleasant surprise! Delicious Greek cuisine with a creative menu. Nice atmosphere and friendly service. I look forward to trying out the rest of the large met. Lamb shank was so luscious and tender, octopus appetizer was really fresh and delicious!
If your in the mood for Greek and your in the Ocala area, you should definitely go here. Prices for lunch range from $18 down to $8. You get what you pay for here: high quality fresh Mediterranean ingredients. The atmosphere is chill relaxed and quiet. At least for lunch. Inside, outside, and upstairs/downstairs. They are multiple options at this restaurant. The chef/owner has strong connections to Greek cuisine and it shows in the food. Yes, some things are Americanized a little but overall a real Mediterranean experience. I would recommend almost anything. But try the shrimp appetizer w a side of feta. Mix together. That's a good start. Then head for the Greek Stir Fry. Add a protein and be well. If room still exists, choose a dessert and some Greek coffee. See you again soon, Feta. Thanks for the lunch. Headed to SC soon. BBQ in my future.
Really great Greek food. They also had Italian but we all wanted Greek. Got fresh pita chips and hummus chicken pita soup. Everything was very fresh. Our waitress Alexa was knowledgeable and courteous. Our bill for 3 people for lunch $40. Quite the bargain for what we got. French fries were unique as well and crisp and tasty. Beer and wine available. Clean.
