I've been visiting Myrtle Beach for around the past ten years, always staying at Kingston Plantation. If staying at the resort, Cindy and Jim's is always a treat in the evening. We enjoy the walk over and being able to sit outside or taking a short stroll over to the playground to enjoy our ice cream. It is a little expensive and they only accept cash, which can be inconvenient, but the ice cream is good and everyone is always friendly.
Was ok rootbeer float was overpriced with something i can make at home for less money everything overpriced ice cream was just average
Overpriced for what you get. Also cash-only, but they do have an atm on sight.
Let me just get straight to the point...The ice cream was terrible. It was the generic ice cream from Walmart (BlueBunny). The Hot fudge was cold as well as the caramel. One of the employees got our order wrong, and our orders showed up in plastic bowls. We ordered a banana split, and it looked absolutely nothing like how the picture presented it. The ownership is awful and the people are blunt and rude. Prices were outrages. We ordered three ice creams for over $30. That 's not all...It is cash only which makes things a hassle and very inconvenient for their customers. They have an ATM machine there, but it requires you to pay $2 to be able to take out money from. Overall, a horrible experience and we will never EVER be coming back.
