Charred: A Steak Oyster - Ocean Springs

Great place right downtown Ocean Springs. Small menu but to me that's always just meant they know what they specialize in. I ordered the 16 oz ribeye medium rare with a scallop topper and a side salad. The cook was perfect on the steak and the scallops where huge and absolutely perfect. Very well executed. I'll definitely be back. Great nightlife in Ocean Springs

Went for the first time last night. Arrived around 5:30 and had no trouble getting a table on a Friday night. By the time we left around 7, however, almost all the tables were seated. Chris waiting on us and is phenomenal. He was funny, attentive, and very nice! He had great recommendations and we will definitely ask for him when we come back!

We have been wanting to try it and finally did last night. We went for the happy hour and Ordered 2 dozen oyster combo and it was the best! It was so delicious! And the Melon Martini was perfect. I highly recommend eating at Charred. My husband and I will be back soon for sure. And oh we chatted with the people sitting next to us and swore the steak, the duck wings and bread pudding were awesome. I cannot wait to go back. Server was good too.

We had a great time at Charred! My husband had a 20 oz. Ribeye, and my son had the filet. My 9 year old son said that Outback and then Texas Roadhouse used to be his favorite steak, but now Charred is his favorite: They made my little girl the steak tacos with cheese only. I had the red fish...catch of the day. The oysters were amazing! It was great that they were 1/2 off for happy hour! Can't beat $10 per dozen. My absolute favorite ones were the blue cheese and bacon ones. Our server Roy was the absolute best. He was very knowledgeable, attentive and full of personality. We had a great time!!!

Great food and service is important to both of us. This place has it. They aim for customer satisfaction and everyone pitches in. We felt like all of the wait staff looked out for everyone and cared whether or not we had all we needed. Sweet people, outstanding food, that's why we keep going back!
