Big sized portions, amazing salsa, fresh meat at amazing prices. The new store front now is part of a chain. Being part of a chain means smaller portions and higher prices. Food was meh, not worth it and the salsa was definitely not home made. Everything tastes store bought. It is sad that this is no longer the restaurant as it was before. Will not be going back.
This place is great Mexican joint with Phillipino inspired recipes. The specials menu is what really stands out. The portions are massive! My sister and I split a medium Rosy Fries and still had enough to share for lunch the next day! You should dine in if you order fries, they’re super saucey and best enjoyed crispy and if you get them delivered or take away they may soggy.
You’re better of going to the poway location, way better customer service and food, regardless of ethnicity, I was served hesitantly tonight by Sarah the bartender, and you could visibly tell the difference in customer service from a a person of color to a white customer. So much so that my friend left after he finished his drinks. I stayed and finished my meal to make sure it wasn’t just us overthinking. Poway’s location has better service all around!
Not Sayulitas!! They moved, now it is a mother son mexican taco shop. It still shows as Sayulitas on ccd bill but the Name on building has changed. I believe it is the Mom's name starts with a D.... (sorry bad memory) the food is daily specials are good deals, salsa bar is great 4-5 diff. Types, they offer some truly massive burritos. Quesodilla wrapped burrito, 2 huge four tortillas made as a Quesodilla then made in to what ever burrito you like. Think stuffed crust pizza meets muy burrito!! They even have a massive like double burrito....seriously you won't finish solo. The food is good, quality is good well worth it. Service is nice small shop nice people. I like it they guys at work like, we go 2-3 times a month. Still trying menu out so far nothing bad or even mediocre. See if you agree. Friday special is Siesta time,
Best burrito I've ever had. I got the Cali burrito. Note: the name changed to Adele's so that was confusing, but the food was amazing. Also, the carne asada fries were amazing as well. Ordering online doesn't work quite right so you may want to call and just ask for a cali burrito.
