Contribuer aux commentairesWe had many great dinners in puerto rico. that wasn't one of them. while a similar check to the other restaurants that we went to $50 per person, the quality of eating was not almost as good as other restaurants such as oceano or cocina abierta. in addition, the sangria was a $28 pitcher of fruit juice. Stay away.
It would have been nice not to have had to ask 3 times for a glass of water, and despite asking for the seafood paella without the sausage, I still got the sausage. I was too hungry to send it back and just picked it out and passed it to my boyfriend. Wasn't the end of the world. It was expensive but old San Juan is expensive. The seafood tasted fresh, great Sangria, and opened table made it really convenient to just walk out of my hotel without worrying.
Not haute cuisine, but for tapas, really well executed and some were excellent with a unique twist. Highly recommend for fun outdoor dining I'm the old town and good quality food.
We made a 7PM reservation on OpenTable. Our plans changed and we arrived a little early. While the restaurant was temporarily closed early to organize from a large function, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. At our assigned reservation time, we were shown a table and had a good meal with very good service. We ate outside and enjoyed the views.
Buried away in the tourist district of old San Juan, this tapas restaurant was well above the pack.
