Paradise Bakery Cafe - Omaha

Soup was very good, chicken tartortilla. Sand, the tasty but flattened, chicken artichokes panini. There were 7 tables that had never been deleted or cleaned when I came in and that was at 430. There was only one customer when I came in. It was 45 minutes later when someone came through and cleaned tables???????????

Tried the tortilla and broccoli cheddar soup. The tortilla was really salty. Broccoli was ok. Panera Bread's has a better taste. Cookies were pretty good. Service was good and the place was clean. They have booths and tables. They have a back room area for seating as well.

Usually pretty good but these last few times have been terrible. Very slow service, even though they have 4-5 people working behind the counter. I got a bowl of soup to go and they gave me the smallest cup- not a bowl- but still charged me the extra price. Put my cold sandwich on top of the soup so now it?s warm. You?re also supposed to get a cookie with your meal but apparently I?m the unlucky one who doesn?t? And the guy taking my order looked like a manager. Ridiculous. Not wasting my money here anymore.

Modern, friendly environment. Pricey. They were out of regular coffee. I 'm not sure what the three people do behind the counter while nobody is ordering but they could be put to good use by checking the coffee. It wasn 't a busy time of day. I told them they were out of coffee and the gal asked me Did you want us to make more coffee? That was a bizarre question to ask! Their online menu is way outdated. They no longer have all of the fancy breads they used to be known for. One of the guys said they only have white or wheat bread. Thankfully the gal overheard us and was able to correct him because they had one other option which I ended up ordering. My meal came to $19.50 after tax. It was the turkey cranberry sandwich, a bowl of soup and a cup of coffee. Everything was pretty good. Sandwiches come with a cookie of your choice and they have a decent variety. Customer service and pricing could be better! This visit was on Sunday May 16th.

Girl at the bakery part was very pleasant and personable. She made me a great iced Chai! The salad and the sandwich weren't bad. I would eat there again. It looks fresh and clean inside the restaurant. I gave 3 stars because I think the food could've been better. There's potential!
