I need to get up n get Infront of led tv to browse which food to get The fish dish I chose didn't indicate spicy ended up with tons of chili n other spice ..it was really turn off. The place nice clean.
Service's good but food in general is quite salty: lamb skewers, lamb soup, and chinese burger with pork. I'll come back for the Liang Pi though
Worst place to order a TO GO food. My 2 daughters and I ordered are food to go so I can pick up my other daughter early but they started doing online orders first and of course they have dine in people too. We ordered around 3:44pm and we got our TO GO ORDER at 4:30pm. We only ordered 2 menu's. Not gonna come back here anymore. This was my daughter's favorite place before when it was M J cafe.
As a foodie from Xi’an, city of Carbs, this is an authentic taste from hometown. I really love the noodles here. If you want to find the orange soda in the area of L.A., you would be amazed to find the orange soda. Very recommend the boiled beef trip, which taste like street food in China.
What is Chang An? It is the old name for Xi An, the famous Chinese city with 8000 terracotta warriors. This new restaurant took over MJ Cafe and now serves Xian food. We have her hand pulled noodles, lambspokes and spicy big plates chicken. They're all very good. We used to drive to Rowland Heights to get this kind of food. We're so glad that Xian's kitchen arrived at the IE.
