Steak 'n Shake - Orange City

The Butter Single Steakburger was incredibly tasty. However, the regular fries and cheese fries seemed like they were aged from the day before.

I hadn't been to this restaurant in a while, so we decided to stop by for a quick lunch and some shakes. I was taken aback to find that they no longer provide table service. Instead, you place your order at a kiosk, which even prompts you for a tip before you receive any service—something I find quite unusual. You end up doing everything except cooking your own food in the back, so I'm not sure what the tip is for. I always thought that buying food contributed to paying the staff's wages, but it seems like they might not earn enough, putting the burden of tipping on customers. I guess I'm showing my age, as I grew up believing that tips were given for service based on how well it was delivered. However, here, they expect a tip before they've done anything at all. It's strange. On a positive note, the food was good. I can't help but wonder if one day they’ll just replace all the staff with vending machines.

I was thrilled to have a burger that looked exactly like the one in the advertisement. It was spot on!

I visited this Steak 'n Shake for the first time. My daughter placed an online order, and when I went to pick it up, they forgot to include the large drink. I went back, and they were more than happy to provide me with the drink. It's a nice place with friendly staff!

The service is outstanding, characterized by a high degree of professionalism. The staff is quick and attentive, making sure everything is served flawlessly.
