Danny's - Orchard Park

Danny’s has one of the best fish fry and hot soup and salad bar in Buffalo where I will come back again and again!

This was our first stop when we arrived. Had Beef in weck, buffalo spicy chicken soup. The soup was delicious and even better than a place we went to during the rest of our stay so I highly recommend it. We sat at the bar. It wasnt busy but server seemed busy so she did the usual check ins to see if we had drinks and how the food was once served. We were hungry and after traveling all day it had a great atmosphere that wasnt overwhelming. Food had great flavor and was really enjoyable. I also liked the pickle that came with my dish. LOL.

Good food and good service, very nice place to have dinner

The food is good here. They don't really have gluten free options and the waitress had no idea what gluten free was. She brought out the salad dressing tub for me to look at because she didn't know what to look for. I wish they had more options for us gluten free people. I had fish and it was very good.

It is my sincerest hope that the Management will read this review: For many decades Danny's has been a destination for many of our entire family events, and terrific dinners! The Fabulous salad bar was always included with every dinner. Sadly the other day when we stopped by we were disappointed to find that there was a $4.99 additional charge for the salad bar. This wonderful restaurant that is always bustling with customers, was noticeably much, much quieter! Sometimes things that look good on paper, really don't work in real life! We all know that in this current day and age, the cost of doing business is rising. However, please find another way to gently offset these costs without losing so many lifelong customers! If you do decide to remove the additional fee for the salad bar, please notify me so that I may make the necessary corrections to this review. It is my sincere desire for Danny's to be a continued success!
