Mares Real Peruvian Cuisine - Orlando

Nice modern Peruvian restaurant. Service is ok. Have been to several other Peruvian restaurants as this one is below average. The Chicha Morada was way too sweet and the tacu-tacu (rice and beans) was very dry. The Chupe soup was fair. The acevichado makis were good, made the night. Food came super fast, perhaps they just reheated. Although the place is nice and service is fair, we will not go back as there are many other Peruvian options around.

Great place to try something different. Ordered a sampler, a sushi roll, a tacu tacu with steak and a soup with some pisco sours. Food was out of this world but the pisco sour was just ok. Prices are not cheap but the portions are great and honestly totally worth it. Will go back.

Food was fresh , flavorful, and well portioned! Yes a little on the high end but again the portions made up for it. I would definitely come back! The one thing I want to point out is that I was charged tax after the gratuity was added. Gratuities are not subject to tax. Maybe this was overlooked as they were setting up their system, but it will need to get updated soon!

The food here is incredible. Everything is fresh and favorable. Even my daughter's kid's meal was obviously freshly and thoughtfully prepared. I highly recommend the Peruvian pesto risotto with steak.Kid-friendliness: The kids meals are obviously just as well thought out as any entree. Mom's rejoice with me!!
