Thank you, Moroccan Breeze, for the delicious couscous!
What a fantastic find! This family-owned restaurant is located in the food section of an international shopping center. We were referred here by a Moroccan entrepreneur living in Orlando, and we’re so glad we took his advice! The food is delicious, and the service is friendly. While the atmosphere may seem unassuming, I recommend keeping it respectful, considering the wonderfully diverse Muslim cultures in the area. It can be a bit tricky to locate on Google Maps, but the effort is definitely worth it! Enter through the main store entrance and head straight to the food court. You'll find a variety of cuisines from different grocery stores, along with a large international supermarket and various shops, making it an exciting destination for anyone looking for something tasty and unique. Highly recommended!
We tried the Merguez sandwich (spicy Moroccan sausage for $10.99) and the Kofta sandwich (ground beef for $9.99), both served with a tomato and onion salad, as well as hot, crispy, salty fries. The spicy beef in the baguette paired wonderfully with the tomato and onion salad, while the ground beef was incredibly juicy and flavorful, complementing the salad perfectly. To top off our meal, we ordered a selection of Moroccan tea cookies to enjoy with a pot of traditional Moroccan mint tea. The service is quick, and the staff is extremely friendly; it’s heartwarming that they remember their regular customers! I've also collaborated with them for catering orders, and they’ve been very accommodating, providing generous portions. I love visiting this place for a taste of home!
I had lunch there last week, and my husband ordered Lharira, a climbing plate, and a Shawarma Sandwich. The food was fresh, well-prepared, and offered great value for the price. We highly recommend it!
