Contribuer aux commentairesThe service here is absolutely terrible! Upon my second bite of my chicken caesar wrap, I found a white rippled hair! I contacted the server and her only question was regarding the colour of the hair. I told her I did not wish to finish...More
The Food.Fantastic food, ranging from sandwiches to burgers and fish and the local poutine and the list goes on. All massive measures and it all tastes great. The Beer.A very wide range of ales, lagers,.ciders, spirits and soft drinks.Facilities.Pool table, TVs showing ice hockey. The place is clean and inviting. The Staff.Well, everything I've mentioned so far has been fantastic but for the staff? Well they're just amazing. So friendly, helpful and they are the best part of the whole experience of being in the place. Overall View.Riley's is the best place in town, as far as I have experienced within the local area so far. I absolutely love the place, as do my 11 friends who visit the place with me. You won't go wrong if you visit the place Ten out of ten.
Went for dinner here with family and friends. Food was ok. Service was very slow, staff weren't too friendly either. This pub has 2 floors and multiple TV's - all showing the same station. Invest in another box to giver your patrons some variety viewing!!
Downtown Oshawa is very quiet on a Monday night but a group of us did find Riley's, which is a typical bar, with a mixed and quiet crowd. It took us quite a while to get served since staffing was clearly an issue. We had beers and a large plate of french fries and were able to talk without having our ears blasted off by music or TVs.
Having made reservations for a party of 50 for 5:15 pm Feb. 25/17 we arrived on time. The restaurant was also aware that we were attending the 7:00 pm hockey game. Once seated a hostess took our drink order. within 10 minutes. Twenty minutes later at 5:40 at least 20 of us, maybe more gave our hostesses our food order. Then the fun began. We waited and waited and waited and waited. I personally spoke with our hostess about 6:15 and told her that we had a 7:00 pm hockey game to attend. Her reply, the orders are on their way out. Ya right. At 6:40,25 minutes after I spoke with our hostess the food was just coming out. It took 1 hour to prepare the orders for, as I have said, 20 of us. Did we eat? NO! We were already up and walking out the door. I personally even told the hostess that I wasn't paying for it or my beverage. I believe others also did not pay for their beverages.Would I go back? Ya right. I wouldn't go back even if the owner of Riley's Pub, at 104 King St E Oshawa Ontario gave all of us one of their most expense meals
