Apothecary Lounge - Ottawa

It has a nice vibe and good drinks but the “focaccia” bread is not actually focaccia. Focaccia is supposed to be a thin bread and I was served a big fluffy loaf of bread. I was kind of disappointed.

Went for drinks and some fries. Love the atmosphere, very underground lounge speakeasy. Went for jazz night and thought it was live music until 11pm but was only until 10pm (some weeks it 's until 10pm some until 11pm), sadly the rest of the night wasn 't jazz music to continue the vibe it was 00s alternative rock type of music, which honestly was dissapoitning after really enjoying the live musician and jazz music. The music wasn 't bad it just didn 't match the jazz night.But the place, drinks, staff, and fries were fantastic. Will definitely go back!

Juliet was amazing. Helped us pick the perfect red wine with our meal for our New Year’s Eve. Hope she gets a raise! Atmosphere of the restaurant is amazing and is my brother’s favourite spot in all of Ottawa!!!!!

I came here for a birthday dinner for the speakeasy vibe, an awesome atmosphere if you want something different with a nice variety of curated cocktails. The service was fine, though a little slow even for being one of the first tables sat. I started off with the Old Crow cocktail, very good. My boyfriend and I shared the octopus salad and the lions mane steak. The lions mane steak was particularly delicious that we wished we had ordered our own! It was definitely an experience to have and try good food, I just wish they were a bit more attentive to our table.
