Harvey's - Ottawa

Family of 7 visited on travel stop, but had a long wait to place the order. Food order was correct but not all items as hot as we'd like. Kids were hungry, so it disappeared quickly. Parking is hard to find so not the best location to sample good food.

This is one place i go to often, and i actually highly recommend you go. The food is served hot and fresh. The staff are very friendly and polite

Clean store, great staff, quick service. True to form, the hamburgs are freshly BBQ'd and taste juicy. Add all the great toppings you want.

I headed over to this Harvey's location, to try out their 'Chili Fest' promotion - prominently advertised on large posters, on their windows. When I walked in, I was greeted promptly (which is a very good sign). One positive observation, is how well ventilated (and clean) the dining area is; the grill is in an enclosed area (just behind the cashier), so the cooking odours are quickly swept up through a fan.While the front counter staff are demure, they do make an effort to assist customers in selecting menu items (usually combos), and will patiently continue assisting each customer's individual requests. It's a well tuned operation: the cashier places orders via a microphone to the grill cook, and a third employee will individually prepare the burger(s), made to order (about 10 minutes).The Multigrain Grilled Chicken Burger, with added Chili, is both savoury & hearty, prepared with quality ingredients (I like the large pickle slice). The Classic Chocolate Milkshake is thick & decadent. The large onion rings taste great with Chipotle sauce.A satisfying meal, down to the last morsel!

Last Saturday as we were shopping noticed the ad for Pulled Pork Pallooza placed on the Harvey's entrance to the strip mall. Looked great so we decided to try this sandwich. We were shocked at the small serving of pulled pork! Not like the picture in the ad! A big disappointment! Lots of room for improvement!
