Contribuer aux commentairesFirst off the staff was friendly and fun and our wonderful server Leoni was helpful, professional and a great personality. My husband's steak was perfectly cooked with a nice flavor and he really liked the sauce they gave in the side. I had the butternut squash risotto with prosciutto and sage and it was very good. We ended our meal with the Triple Sorbet with wild berries and it too was very flavorful . They also have a nice selection of wine and then having a bay view just added to the whole experience. We ate on the large outside deck. Absolutely gorgeous setting. Easily the nicest spot in Paihia to eat on a sunny spring day! Kitchen was accommodating and made us breakfast even though breakfast service had just ended. Food was fine, large portions including generous amount of smoked salmon on the salmon hash. The only downside really was the outside sofas looked inviting but were wet. Also there were fish in the enormous tank inside which is quite cool.
I had a delightful dining experience with the Contiki group at Zane's Grey's Restaurant! I must say it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. My choice for the evening was the classic Fish and Chips. It was impeccably prepared with a crispy crust. Try saying that three times in a row. The fish was accompanied by some well seasoned fries. Each bite was a delightful combination of crunch and tenderness. What truly elevated the dining experience was the staff. A special mention to the Belgian lad Koen who was as joyful as he was friendly. In addition to the outstanding food and service, the ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting. The cozy atmosphere, coupled with attentive staff, created a welcoming environment that enhanced the overall enjoyment of the evening. Overall, my visit to Zane Grey's Restaurant left me thoroughly impressed, thanks to the tasty Fish and Chips and the exceptional service provided by Koen. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. Viktor out
Leoni was very professional and attentive to our needs. I highly recommend her as a great waitress. My guest asked another waitress for some bread, as she is accustomed to having this with her food in Switzerland but the response was that the kitchen was too busy for a slice of bread. This was the only disappointment of an otherwise outstanding dining experience
A great way to treat ourselves after our sailing adventures in the Bay of Islands! Fantastic staff We requested a seat by the aquarium, and had a lot of fun watching the fish swim by. Amazing food, our server Lisa helped suggest great dishes a wine pairing from near one of the islands we had visited earlier in the day very special. Enjoyed reading about the history at the front of the menu also. Thanks team!
