La Piccola Italia - Paine

This restaurant has just appeared on the news. A video was leaked in which a supervisor horribly mistreated the staff, threatening and insulting them in the most barbaric way. I was shocked after watching the clip. I would strongly recommend to avoid this place until the company publicly apologizes and compensates those employees.

It's all about value for money. You want to go to a nice and cozy restaurant with expertly prepared dishes especially for you and you don't care what the experience costs? Then Piccola Italia is not for you. You want plenty food of decent quality for a low price and you don't want to wait too long for it to be served? You're the target audience , particularly if you want to bring your whole family. The restaurant in Paine has the same menu as the other Piccola Italia restaurants but is gigantic, has occasionally live music and there's a bouncy castle for the kids.

Please do not go to this place. Their employees are being victims of workplace harassment and constant abuse (there are videos on Youtube). Also, the food is horrible and they have bad food handling practices such as serving the leftovers to customers. The videos showing the employee abuse are all over the news and according to their employees testimonies, the abuse have been occurring for years, especially against their foreign workers. Once again, please do not go this place, I know there are a lot of wonderful restaurants in the area where you can enjoy a delicious Italian dish.

Its okay if your on the run, but don't spect something amazing, actually most of the times the food its a little bit cold, also waitresses are so busy that they easily forget what you order. Know speaking of the atmosphere, it noisy so spect a lot of shouting from the waitresses. So eventually I considered it like a fast food restaurant, I have tried the same quality pasta in a mall, but not as shep. PD. Go during the descount hour, only a few thing of the Menu enter there but you'll save an important amount of cash

Terrible! Cheap quality food served cold. Drinks were sugary, pasta was watery. Place was empty. Only plus was the friendly staff.
