La Palma Mexican Grill Cantina

Pros:First visit… Liked the decor, everyone was very nice. Got there early, so no waiting… (5:30) to seat or eat.Clean and roomy… And Oh, yes the food was very good, and hot, and the beer was cold…Cons:My favorite waitress wasn’t there… I’ll let you figure this one out. ?

One of the better Mexican restaurants in the AV..Most of the Mexican restaurants here in the AV are bland and tasteless..This one is actually different.We come from the south bay of Los Angeles, namely Hermosa Beach, where Rosa's Mexican Restaurant is the place.This restaurant is actually quite good.Kevin ReaLancaster California

Guacamole was not fresh... it's packaged a la Sabra. I ordered veggie fajitas and you can tell they were from a frozen veggie bag. The giveaway is crinkled carrots. Tortillas were processed... As in Mission tortillas from a plastic bag. It wouldn't surprise me if beans were canned.Drinks were food and service was good.

Saturday night, live entertainment. Hardly any customers (10 tops), ordered a taco, it was cold., so disappointing ? ?. Had to wait approximately half hour to get a drink. Had to go to the bar area for my drink, no one was available to wait on our table. AGAIN!!! I'm visiting from out of town and was invited here. I will visit again sometime just to give this place the benefit of the doubt. I will post an update. Thank you for taking the time to read my review! Have an amazing day ?
