They seem to have gone from being shaped on site to being those pre purchased shaped ones. Cooks differently and has different texture. Makes me wonder if they still toss their chicken tenders in those big bowls of breadcrumbs. Can't see what they are doing in the kitchen anymore because they have redesigned it and it's not open to view. Is all the prep work done off site now and shipped in? That would seem to follow the model of restaurants growing their locations and then having to do more in a centralized location to ship out to individual sites. This is when IMHO quality starts to suffer.
Noisy as hell on a friday night, stoned servers, tacos were terrible. Only good for families with kids who want to feed cheap food. Never ever!
If you want to dine in I strongly recommend bringing your own 409 and a cloth to wipe down your table. It used to be a much nicer place some 5-6 years ago, but unfortunately the place got a lot dirtier over the years. Food is pretty good, but other locations are just better overall in comparison. Clean up the place and remove the weird pick-up area and I’ll give you 4-5 stars. ?
Definitely didn’t get a large amount of food for the amount of money paid, but overall I would say it’s good food. Got there a few minutes after I received a text that food was ready, very quick and very busy (6:30pm on a saturday), food was ready made and drinks were fresh. Kid-friendliness: very kid friendly. Can be overwhelming for some
This place used to be great. Ever since COVID happened things changed drastically. I mean, the burgers were always on the cold side compared to the Gott’s in SF but otherwise food is good. However, customer service is lacking big time. They removed the nice bar area overlooking the kitchen and replaced it with an ugly “temporary” storage/service area (kind of in the middle of the restaurant) destroying the ambience. This temporary solution became permanent. Tables are sticky and dirty, the last 3-4 times we ended up provisionally cleaning it up with napkins and water because none of the staff would do it (despite having quite a lot of people working there). Nobody seems to feel responsible for cleaning the place every now and then. What gets me the most is that they have the audacity to ask for tips if I put in my own order, pick up my own food, clean the table before I can eat there, put away the tray and separate the trash for them. So what exactly is the tip for?
