This is the best restaurant in Paramaribo. With 200% passion, justices are served in extraordinary ways. Spare wine choice and very kind service. Location is extraordinary and unforgiving. Less suitable for families with children.

Superb gourmet experience and wine pairing. Only the raviolis were disappointing. Nice ambiance and very good service.

I once had a great experience there before, but yesterday was very disapointing. Long waiting time (1.5 hours, due to a misunderstanding in the kitchen , the food tasted very bland this time, some of the servers were inexperienced (maybe trainees? Mosquito's under the table, and our special request was forgotten and never made it to the table. But the wine was good, the ambiance, the servers were friendly, the meat was tender, and we got a complementary caramelized cheese snack while waiting. The guy in the parking lot was friendly too. So that is why I gave 3 stars. But in the end I came there for the food and that was so disapointing that I don't think I will be back.

We dined here with friends and their kids. We read the great reviews and someone saying that it is the best restaurant in Paramaribo, so we had to give it a try. We were seated outside because there was a birthday party inside. Luckily we brought insect repellant to protect our legs. I think the service could have been better (waiting for the utensils, waiting to order drinks, waiting for everyone to get a course). Some dishes did not get any explanation. The food was just OK. We went for the 5-course chef's specials. Nice amuze-bouche, but the rest was just OK. I really wished that the dishes were warmer. The seafood were mostly all overcooked. The dessert did not really impress me. The beef main dish however had a perfect cuisson, and a pleasant grilled taste (needed a little more salt). Overall I think it was just OK.
