Kimono Ken is a steady, reliable Japanese restaurant that hits the mark for both taste and price. In this country, any restaurant that serves Japanese cuisine seems to be the license to charge high prices, so it is quite a pleasure to see one that doesn 't try to gouge your wallet out but still rates well on the palate. I can never quite get enough of their Sukiyaki, which is a personal favorite of mine in any Japanese restaurant. KK 's version is served with a yolk still whole, and you have to mix it yourself. Japanese tonight and it was similar to a trip to the land of the rising sun. Kimono Ken did a superb job on making me feel the flavors of Japanese in three of their dishes. Sukiyaki at Php 350 was just excellent. It has been awhile since I had it and am reminded how special this concoction is. It started with their sweet savory soup base. I slurped it endlessly and poured it on my gohan. The noodles were thin yet firm and slippery. Its beef strips were tender, lean and really tasty. If you're looking for an affordable Japanese restaurant with a casual ambiance, Kimono Ken is a good place to try. The service is good, the food's good, and the price is just right. :
Authentic Japanese good food! Yes that's Kimono Ken for me. It's a lunch meeting with our client and definitely all sorts of food were ordered (though didn't get to capture all in my photos). This is a go to Japanese place if you want variety and you want to be sure it's good plus good price. Starting off with salad we had crispy shake salad greens with Japanese mayo and crispy salmon on top that change the game.
