Although I did not go inside, I was here just once, some time in the early half of the 1980's. My mother, Wanda Lee (Davis) Skelly Adams Rocco (07/07/1927-01/14/2020) may have gone inside, at that time. I am now age 53, still on my own. Being culinary creative, and having patience toward recipe development, I probably would put my isolation kitchen expertise and wisdom to use, to think, and only think of potential product development, this is thought of here, although I do not know if they ever expanded out to include organic confection/dessert production.
I absolutely enjoyed your Pecan Pier. I've always enjoyed lemon balms, but since my favorite brand was set by lemon balms, I decided to try something else. I wasn't familiar with this brand, but I decided to pecan pie and definitely try your other cakes soon.
You allowed me to come early. There is a Loves truck stop right at exit 70 from I35. This is the exit you want. This is a small place, so it would be best to call first before it appears early. The route will not say by truck, but it has marked it strongly for Fields Pies. Follow the sign and you will be fine. Fast loading and it smells amazing here! Really nice people. To load up to glass doors. There are no docks. Be careful when you go. On a curvy road. You can also buy cakes from the small building near the glass overhead door. You're good. Very sweet. Very sweet.
The Pecan Pies! The legend is true! Make a way to get some cakes right in the factory! Open Mon-Fri 9 am to 5 pm.
