The prime rib carver was good, although a bit fatty quality , should have been more trimmed before serving had a whole dish of fat that I removed from my portion). Now the buffet; very ordinary. String beans that seemed out of a can, canned corn, veggies good ones) steamed in water, tasteless, mac and cheese, dry, mashed potatoes not salted at all, etc. mahi fish poached no flavor, chicken cutlets, mediocre parsley on them but not seasoned much). Sweet potatoes were the best option, but that isn't much to say since the rest was, eh. At $25pp, it was expected that it would have been much better. The dessert buffet were probably the best part of the meal. I think there is huge need for improvement here. They need to think about taste, not quantity. Oh, and some of the veggies were not hot at all, a big deal with us. Needs much work. Will try it again if they do! But, not for a holiday.
While we stay at seaside inn, we can go to coastal dish. it was comfortable and the food was good. we also learned about the breakfast buffet we tried the next day. the price was very reasonable and the buffet was good on camp.
We waited a few minutes before we were recognized and we could see two server that need to serve us. they appeared underoccupied, especially with the weekend and all the advertising they do. we came because we were in the resort and thought it would be convenient. we had also seen a lot of advertising that asked us to come even when we were there, we did not feel very welcome. eating was fair. Once the server came to us, she was nice and excused for waiting, but the ambiente was then. very disappointing.
The deck is great to take a drink with a lot of entertainment for families. However, to dine inside, eating is under average. the food was room temperature and the service was slow. there are much better restaurants in the opposite for money, eating and service. overall my family was very disappointed.
Visited this antid a year ago and wondered how I would find this restaurant, as I did not remember the names, only that it was very good. lo and behold, I reviewed my reviews on open table and there it was. so happy for me because it was as good as I remembered. I recommend the prime rib special at $22.95 it is carved before location on a buffet. I dare you have seconds. they also have a very nice menu if that is what they want. enjoys!
