Contribuer aux commentairesMy wife follows a strict gluten-free diet, and I’m happy to say that Burtons has a completely separate cooking area dedicated to gluten-free meals. This is something most places don’t offer; they often don’t segregate gluten-free preparation spaces. The chef who makes the gluten-free dishes even serves them on different plates—square for gluten-free and round for everything else—which my wife truly appreciates. They really go the extra mile to cater to those with gluten sensitivities. We’ve never had a negative experience here. The food is always delicious and satisfying. I’ve tried most items on the menu multiple times and have to say that the shrimp and lobster gluten-free pasta is my favorite dish, and I don’t even have to be gluten-free! I’ve also enjoyed their regular hamburgers, which I like as well.
I let the waitress know that I would be taking my "lunch" home and asked for the check three times. Instead of the check, she brought out a dessert menu! The manager came over again, and I had to ask for the check once more before I finally received it. I left my meal untouched since the sight of the fish made me feel sick. One member of my party ordered a fried fish sandwich on that same McDonald's hamburger bun, and despite asking for tartar sauce, it took 15 minutes to arrive—by that time, she had almost finished her meal. I didn’t pay for my meal, but after adding a tip, the total came to $84.76 for three hamburgers, three fried fish dishes, and three sodas. Yikes! If they're charging $13.00 for hamburgers, they should at least serve them on better buns.
