Our exploration led us to Janna Kerry's, where we were warmly greeted by Janna himself. He recommended some delicious local beers on tap and provided helpful insights on the menu. The cozy atmosphere and scrumptious Quesadillas paired with a fresh salad and local brews made for a memorable evening. We left feeling satisfied and ready for a good night's rest after a long journey from Vermont. We were grateful for Janna's hospitality and highly recommend making the trip to Pembroke for a taste of the local cuisine and a break from dull highway establishments.
I had a family dinner at this restaurant. Two of us ordered quinoa dishes, but ten minutes later we were told they couldn't make it with quinoa and offered rice instead. I agreed to the change, but what I received was a messy and flavorless dish with sweet elements that were not advertised, along with a small portion of guacamole. There were no black beans, iron, or red peppers as described on the menu. I couldn't eat more than a few bites and had to leave it. My husband ordered a burrito that only had ground beef, missing the refried beans and pico de gallo that were supposed to be included. The roasted vegetables were good, but hard to mess up. Two members of our group were on a tight schedule and had expressed this at the beginning, but the food took longer than expected and we only had 5 minutes to eat before leaving. There was a lot of food left on the table when we departed. I would rate this experience as below average and would not return to this restaurant despite driving 2.5 hours to meet with our group.
My fiancé and I came here to celebrate buying our first house. We had originally planned to go somewhere else, but all the tables were full. We decided to try this place instead, and we were so impressed. The staff were wonderful and the food was amazing. We will definitely be returning in the future!
Janna and Kerry's is a great place to hang and enjoy an evening in the city. The super friendly staff, good food and good people make this a must for everyone. The locals are friendly and the owners are friendly.
My wife and I went here for lunch. We had been there before a few times. I was pleasantly surprised with the items on the menu. They seemed imaginative and not like just another small town Ottawa Valley restaurant. there were several that would be...suitable for a vegetarian diet.
