The only downside was waiting 75 minutes for delivery and having to pick up the food myself because of a shortage of drivers. If not for this, I would have given a 5-star rating.
I was disappointed to find that Pembroke Tandoori did not have a clear understanding of veganism, despite mentioning vegan options on their website. When the waiter suggested a tandoori dish for me, my partner and I were skeptical. Unfortunately, the tasteless dry spinach dish I received as my main course only confirmed our doubts. The chapati was the only edible part of the meal. Pembroke Tandoori needs to either clarify that they do not cater to vegans or improve their vegan offerings.
I recently ordered takeout from this restaurant. The curry was delicious and the naan bread was fantastic. Overall, it was a great takeout experience, although a bit on the pricey side.
The salad was stale, the chicken curry was tasteless and watery no flavour. The dhansak, was terrible the chicken had a funny texture and was inedible, needless to say won't be going again. When phoned to complain they put the phone down !!
We were staying on a short break over Easter and found this indian takeaway. We ordered starters and a chichen tikka masala the food was delicious and hot and we would definitely recommend this restaurant.
