Pilot not have enough staff to clean shower and this happen many locations.
I paid 50 cents for a cup of hot water. Seriously? It's 11 AM, and breakfast has still been sitting out since 6 AM—that's just gross. Management, wake up; you're going to have a new owner soon!
The experience was disappointing. The restaurant has closed indefinitely, and the coolers were not stocked. The place was mostly empty, yet there were long lines because I only saw two people working at the register. It felt like a typical Flying J and Pilot location—overpriced with poor quality. Truck drivers are being overcharged and taken advantage of, especially with fuel prices being so high and load rates very low. While Pilots and Flying Js profit, truckers are struggling financially.
On August 13, 2022, I called ahead to confirm that the dump station was open. However, one of the fuel lanes was closed for vehicles with left-side fuel tanks. On July 15, 2022, I also called in advance to check if the RV dump was available, and an employee confirmed that it was open. Flying J features two dedicated fuel lanes for RVs, as well as propane, air, and facilities for dumping black and gray tanks. Please note that you need to turn the RV around to access the dump station after fueling.
