This is a nice place to get lunch while walking around and shopping in this part of town. They provide quick service and a few nice meal options. They have good crab cakes and BBQ sandwich. Staff seems very efficient and nice and prices are reasonable.
Great place to eat, good atmosphere, welcoming staff. The food was delicious, I only took a star because I was hoping for more authentic Spanish Tapas.
The food here was ok. We had the cauliflower soup, which tasted great. I had the crab sandwich, which tasted good but was small. My dining partner had the roast beef sandwich was very light on the beef and mostly bread, with a potato salad he did not care for. The seating arrangement inside was around a bar, which is not desirable to us. The service was really good. The two stars were for the value of the lunch; two soups, two sandwiches, water to drink and a tip at $72. Yikes.
I feel so fortunate to have discovered Carmen's! MariCarmen offers a well labeled menu of gluten free items and options, in addition to everything be fantastic. There are precious few Pensacola restaurants I feel 100% confident that what I'm eating is a GF selection, with knowledgeable and friendly staff, and Carmen's is one of them.
