On the tip of Cornwall and once thought to be the end of the land is a long journey for most. However, if you do make it this far, be sure to bring your camera along with your golf clubs as the views are as good as the golf. Nice course with a bit of variety, and I should imagine difficult on a windy day. Fortunately, it was calm on my visit. (Shooting 90 off a 21 handicap). If you struggle with hills, hire a buggy as the 12 through >16th have significant elevation changes (over 30m decent on one hole alone). The remainder or the course is fairly low impact. Recommended.
Had a great day golfing at Cape Cornwall. Came without clubs and the lady on reception was so helpful sorting out clubs, buggies, trollies etc. The course is quite challenging but the scenery is amazing. Only disappointment was that they weren't able to offer us a sandwich to take with us on our round, but we were able to purchase lovely cakes and takeaway tea and coffee when we were half way round. Thoroughly enjoyed our day at Cape Cornwall
We stayed at this hotel for one night while hiking the South West Coast Path. The location above Cape Cornwall with a wonderful view of the Atlantic is fantastic. The room was a bit small but very nice with a modern bathroom. The dinner excellent! The breakfast also good. Very friendly employees. A hotel that you can really recommend. Rooms: Modern, a bit small, nice, great bathroom! Rooms: 5
