Child if annoying if you don't have a phone or the app doesn't work properly as happens in our case. The food was absolutely spectacular, but the place was crowded, several small children screamed and quite loud adults. For us a disproportion between the great food and the ambience.
Loved food and service. Although a bit expensive for Pereira, it's totally worth it as the food and service is 5 stars. I was impressed and traveled the world. The decoration is ok especially seats are not the most convenient, but everything else is spot on! Well done Diego Paneso!
This is a real restaurant, stylish, efficient, stylish and with above average food. I particularly appreciated the generous spout for a glass of Vino Tinto. But above all, I was intrigued by the court I chose. Bouillabaisse is one of my benchmark dishes... if you do it right, you're okay in my book. This bullabesa was a hybrid and quite interesting. When the chef listens.... The Asian / Colombian rice supplement is amazing! Even better would be Guacamole. The seafoods were amazing and sweet and tasteful, but perhaps a drop more Ricard? What did not work was the frit that added an undesirable taste of fried oil to the delicate mix. I still try to decide whether the traditional Aioli who was absent would have helped. But in the end, these questions aside, the court had me all night in my place! What can be said more than the dessert that I have chosen, the volcanic chorate that was your basic disaster.
I wouldn't call the food Mediterranean, however the dishes are very inventive, a lot of local ingredients are utilized. The presentation is very appetizing, the service is very good. I found the food too sweet for my taste, however it is catered to Colombians, who love sweets. As far as the restaurants in Pereira go, Ambar is one of the best. I would recommend it for a special occasion. It is expensive by Colombia standards, however I believe it is worth a try.
Sometimes is really difficult to find a first class restaurant in a mid size city. This is one of those. Awesome food and service. Had octopus and tacos and shrimp, all top quality
