Cast Iron Grill - Peterborough

The food at this restaurant is excellent and faultless. The dishes are delicious and the service is outstanding. We have previously stayed at this hotel and I highly recommend it. Thank you to the staff for being so accommodating.

The food is tasty, but the portions are on the smaller side for the price. The staff are diligent and polite. However, during my visit amidst the Covid crisis, there was a limited selection of meals available, which needed to be ordered 30 minutes in advance. As a solo businessman, the dim lighting in the restaurant made it difficult to read. While I understand the challenges brought on by Covid, I would have appreciated better lighting to enjoy my meal and read my book.

My colleagues and I had a fantastic dinner at The Cast Iron. Ryan, the supervisor, along with Lauren and Sophie, our waitress, took excellent care of us. They were all very kind, extremely funny, and professional. I am thrilled to be staying here and receiving such great service from such wonderful people.

We visited this restaurant on the first night of our stay at the Marriott Peterborough. I have to say I have never been so disappointed, we ordered two cocktails, both were not available as the bar had run out of the necessary spirits, then we ordered two steaks which both myself and my girlfriend found very fatty which was disappointing at £24 per steak! There are far better restaurants locally which you should take advantage of.
